Growing grapes and farming vineyards has taught us that the endeavor of making wine is truly a journey, and one that mimics everyday life. Each decision we face both in the vineyards and in the cellar creates a Crossroads for us, and that is the beauty of the winemaking journey.
When tasting the 2019 Crossroads Sauvignon Blanc and 2018 Crossroads Cabernet Sauvignon together as a team, we sat around a table and were all transported to some of our favorite places. We hope these wines will inspire you, as they did our team.

2019 Crossroads Sauvignon Blanc
One sip of the 2019 Crossroads Sauvignon Blanc and you are instantly transported to the drizzly mountain hikes of the Hawaiian coast. Bursting with citrus peel, guava, and green pea, this wine encompasses the full spectrum of aromas that Sauvignon Blanc can offer. This is a happy wine — lively and vibrant with notes of grapefruit and gooseberry. The wine builds with mid-summer stone fruits and honeydew that add depth to the mid-palate with a minerally textured finish, reminiscent of the salty mist of the ocean. 2018 Crossroads Cabernet Sauvignon
The 2018 Crossroads Cabernet Sauvignon will be your confidante, companion, better yet, your new best friend. The aromas of this wine are familiar, notes of bay laurel that remind you of making homemade tomato sauce or the sweet baked spices of mixed berry pies. On the palate, you find a balance of freshness and complexity. At first taste, you are hit with freshly picked blackberries that are warm, juicy, and satisfying, followed up by an earthy and irony tannin presence that is approachable, and reminds you of the red dirt it comes from as it lingers on the finish.
